MADE IN THE USA

I started taking herbal supplements for increased breast milk production with my first child over 12 years ago. That is when I first learned about the benefits to using herbs.

There are many reasons to want to increase supply, mainly:

  • You are returning to work and need to boost your supply
  • If you are stocking your freezer
  • If you feel like you need support to maintain your supply
  • If you are tandem nursing
  • If you want to donate breast milk
  • If you have a temporary dip in supply due to menstruation, illness, or baby growth spurt

Nobletask's "Mother Load!" Breastfeeding Tincture synergistically blends herbal galactagogues (these are herbs that increase the flow of breast milk) to support your body’s own ability to produce breast milk. Our Mother Load Breastfeeding Tincture not only helps increase the quantity of the breast milk, but it also enriches and “fattens” up the hindmilk.

Many already know this, but as a nursing mother, it is crucial to not only establish but maintain an abundant supply of breast milk. There is no one-size-fits-all out there with anything offered, and I feel that in order to get the best supply you can, you have to keep in mind that there are multiple factors, such as frequency of breastfeeding, a nourishing diet (lots of nutritional fats included), ample rest, proper hydration throughout the day, staying as relaxed and stress-free as possible (stress is a huge factor in "drying up") and staying hormonally balanced. If all of these influences are taking place, your body will have the best opportunity for production. If you find your milk is getting low, attempt some back-to-basics protocols like skin-to-skin, continuing to eat nourishing foods (lots of brothy foods/soups), staying extra hydrated and doing things throughout the day that keep you stress-free. It is normal to have some pumping sessions or feeding sessions where you aren't getting as much milk as the time before, but don't lose hope!

Another thing to keep in mind if your baby gets fussy after you've been taking Mother Load: it's probably not so much from the herbs bothering their stomach, but rather from gorging themselves on the breast milk since the breast milk is coming out so fast that they can't help it; they just keep nursing! If they get fussy & gassy you should look in to switching up their positions & make sure they get enough hindmilk!

Our tincture comes packaged in 0.51fl oz, 1 fl oz or 2fl oz amber glass bottle for best preservation.

All dried herbs are purchased from reputable wholesale companies or personally wildcrafted. Any herb that is personally wildcrafted, has been gathered using all common precautions to avoid contamination and to preserve the future of the plant.

Moringa Leaf - Moringa leaves are a natural galactagogue - a substance that promotes or increases the flow of a mother's milk. It has been used since ancient times to boost breast milk supply as well as providing a source of nourishment for babies and moms alike.

Red Raspberry Leaves - This astringent herb helps restore tone to uterine and pelvic muscles, may curb excessive bleeding, and assist with wound healing.

Fennel Seeds - Fennel has a long tradition of being used to promote breast milk supply. It is also thought to be helpful in better digestion and weight management. When passed through breast milk, fennel seed also helps soothe digestive issues and the symptoms of abdominal pain or colic in babies.

Blessed Thistle Leaves - Blessed thistle (or holy thistle) is yet another herb that helps with milk supply. It can also help lessen anxiety which is something many new mamas could benefit from.

Goats Rue Leaves - One of the rarest and most powerful herbs in the world for nursing mothers. Evidence-based study shows that goat's rue directly affects mammary tissue to help it mature further and contribute to the production of more milk. Women who did not notice major breast changes during pregnancy or those who have trouble producing enough milk related to hormonal issues should use this natural lactation booster.
